Title: Sales EngineerLocation: Remote role or hybrid option in Sugar Land, TXCompensation: Base $80K-$95K + up to 20% bonus (OTE: $96K-$114K)Who We Are: We are a manufacturer of electronic components and connectors for a variety of verticals throughout the U.S. Our Sugar Land facility is our hub for all aerospace applications. We design and manufacture high reliability motion sensing and control products, including inertial measurement units (IMUs), flight control systems, radar altimeters, resolvers, linear motors, and more!
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team in the aerospace division (non-military market). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical expertise and customer needs, driving sales through in-depth product knowledge and exceptional communication skills. This role is essential in understanding client requirements and providing solutions that enhance our product offerings in the electronic components sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to understand their technical needs and specifications.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic sales plans and approaches.
  • Assist in the development of proposals and quotes based on client requirements.
  • Serve as a technical resource for the sales team, answering product-related questions and providing insights on new technologies.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to effectively position our offerings.Qualifications
    • 3+ years experience sales or business development, preferably in the electronics industry.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing, Electronic Engineering preferred
    • Strong understanding of aerospace motion sensors, accelerometers, and gyroscopes, IMUs, etc.
    • Knowledge of navigation, vibration control, seismic sensing, etc.
    • Understanding product requirements, market trends, market size, market competition, etc.
    • Japanese language and culture knowledge is a plus, but not required
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings and industry events.Benefits
