A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer, Application
Security.
Key Responsibilities
Lead comprehensive security assessments of cloud-native
applications and architectures
Design and implement custom security tools for automated
vulnerability detection
Perform detailed architecture reviews and threat modeling of
complex systems
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience in application security with a focus on cloud
infrastructure vulnerabilities
8+ years of hands-on application security experience and technical
assessment capabilities
Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Rust, and/or
JavaScript
Experience with fuzzing, static analysis tools, and cloud-native
technologies
Ability to mentor junior engineers and communicate complex security
concepts effectively
