Job Description:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop specifications for the application of LO
materials
- Develop guidelines and specifications for the incorporation of
supportable LO design features
- Develop Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) verification plans
- Develop procedures for Tier 1 and Tier 2 testing of LO aircraft
and/or components
- Aid in the development of manufacturing plans for Low
Observable air vehicles, including infrastructure, materials,
component fabrication, and assembly processes
- Select, develop, and test LO materials to determine physical,
electrical, and/or environmental properties
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience performing maintenance related activities
on LO aircraft
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience with Tier 1/Tier 2 LO diagnostic tools
- Experience in the design and/or manufacture of LO materials or
LO components
- Experience with LO Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) buildups and
verification
- Working knowledge of LO design and analysis, survivability, and
susceptibility
- Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. TS Security
clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with indoor and/or outdoor RCS testing
- 10+ years of experience
- Experience with effects of defects/effects of repair (EoD/EoR)
test plan development and/or testing
- Experience with CAD tools such as (CATIA, NX)
- Experience in applying LO coatings
- RCS or IR analysis experience
- Advanced composite and structural aircraft repair experience on
LO platforms
