Compute Infrastructure Engineering Manager

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Compute Infrastructure Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team in designing, building, and maintaining compute infrastructure across various platforms
Oversee the transition from VMware to Kubernetes and manage critical infrastructure services
Develop and implement Metal as a Service (MaaS) solutions and drive the adoption of software-defined storage

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with 5+ years in management roles
Expertise in managing virtualized, containerized, and bare-metal environments
Strong proficiency in Linux systems, DNS, and configuration management tools
Proven experience with Metal as a Service (MaaS) platforms and storage technologies
