Aide/Paraprofessional, you'll be essential in helping classroom
teachers by working closely with special education students, both
individually and in small groups, to enhance their academic
journey. Your contributions will have a significant positive impact
on these children's growth and development.
- Competitive hourly rate of $21-$24, paid weekly
- Consistent Monday to Friday schedule
- No weekend work required
- Typical hours: 8am to 2:30/3pm, for a total of 30-35 hours per
weekKey Responsibilities:
- Behavioral Support: Implement and monitor behavioral
intervention plans (BIPs), provide positive reinforcement, and
apply de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Individualized Support: Offer tailored, one-on-one or small
group support to students with special needs, customizing materials
and strategies to fit their unique requirements.
- Classroom Assistance: Collaborate with teachers to manage
classroom behaviors, foster student engagement, and create an
inclusive learning environment.
- Data Collection: Accurately track and record student progress,
behaviors, and interventions to inform the special education
team.
- Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with
teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure cohesive support for
students.Required Qualifications/Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
- English proficiency -Preferred:
- Experience in special education, particularly with moderate to
severe behaviors
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
- CPR and First Aid certificationBenefits:
