Tax Experienced Staff Accountant - Tax Senior AccountantJob DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION

• Willingness to learn and be a team player
• Assist tax manager with tax research and compliance functions
• Assist with developing and implementing revenue generating concepts
• Prepare and review tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, etc.)
• Assures compliance with federal, state and local tax laws and regulations
• Conducts research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations
• Prepare sales tax audits, annual tax forms, projections and tax notices
• Minimizes tax liability through sound and informed application of laws and regulations
• Maintains tax records, related schedules and related reports
• Typically requires exercising independent judgment
• Other assignments as requiredMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience within a CPA Firm
  • Bachelor's in Accounting required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Master's degree in Tax is a plus
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in Lacerte, RIA, BNA as well as other accounting software
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
