Job Description:

XYZ is looking for a highly motivated professional to serve as a Staff Accountant to perform cash management, vendor credit, process payroll, monitor invoicing and collections, assist with month-end closes, and other departmental duties as assigned.
As the Staff Accountant, you will transact day-to-day accounting duties including but not limited to; assistance in preparation of various monthly reports, financial report consolidations, bank reconciliations, audits, internal document policies and procedures, and other projects as needed.

• Assist in financial statement preparation
• Assist in tax preparation
• Perform check runs
• Perform bank reconciliations and trace discrepancies
• Review 1099"s and W-2"s
• Prepare journal entriesMinimum Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Recent experience working with QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Analytical and accounting skills
  • Able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environmentMinimum Education:
    • Bachelor"s Degree preferable major in Accounting, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
