of the world's leading investors.About the RoleThe role of Managing
Director at Moove is a senior leadership position that entails
overall responsibility for driving the company's strategic
direction, with a focus on growth and profitability. As the
Managing Director, you will lead and develop a number of teams from
Fleet Operations, Sales & Onboarding, Business Development,
Customer Success, People and Org to Finance in order to meet
Moove's ambitious goals.You will be responsible for setting and
managing key performance indicators, working closely with the
management team to align business goals with successful execution.
Your role involves making critical decisions, fostering innovation,
and ensuring the organization's growth while upholding Moove's
values and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity
to lead and shape the company's trajectory in a dynamic and
competitive market.What You'll be DoingSetting and owning the
market strategy to reach ambitious P&L targets which will
include but is not limited to:
- Developing and launching operational strategies to deliver a
profitable business
- Identifying opportunities and deploying levers to maximise
revenue and improve cost efficiency
- Establishing a strong foundation by getting the basics right,
positioning the business for growth and scalability into
surrounding regions and new products
- Devising dynamic pricing strategies to beat competition by
improving unit economics
- Leading local budget planning that will enable future growth,
positioning your region strategically within the wider Moove
portfolio
- Ensuring all operations adhere to local and state regulations
Leading a high-performing team and demonstrating strong leadership
abilities by:
- Designing your organisation for stellar performance; building
and managing high calibre teams that are engaged and
productive
- Scaling Moove's business operations by leading daily, weekly,
and monthly operations calls
- Establishing mechanisms and forums for reporting and tracking
progress against key business metrics for company-wide
consumption
- Designing and managing a business performance scorecard and
team/individual performance targets
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop products
and test initiatives
- Liaising with peers within the region & company to share
knowledge and optimise operations. Ensuring optimum efficiency of
our fleet by:
- Identifying, building and managing relationships with local
partners.
- Planning, processing, and executing approved vehicle purchases
through our partner OEMs.
- Ensuring fleet operations are in compliance with local and
state rules and regulations.
- Ensuring vehicles are maintained properly, including
registering and licensing of all vehicles under your management.
Diligently serving our customers and advancing our mission by:
- Leading on the deployment and quality of our supply chain (i.e.
Moove Driver-partners)
- Handling escalations and managing conflict resolutions with our
customers to the highest degree of satisfaction
- Monitoring driver behaviour and designing processes for
ensuring engagement and utilisation What You will need for this
position
- A relevant Degree with preference shown for but not exclusive
to Fleet/Mobility/Logistics/Engineering/Operations/Operations
Management.
- Prior team leadership experience is a must with examples of
building/growing high performing teams
- Ideally 10+ years of similar experience in operations across
fleet, ride hailing, logistics or supply functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the
ability to simplify complex concepts and present at all levels
within the organisation
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen with proven
experience of managing third party/supplier relationships
- Outstanding organisational skills with a track record of
managing organisational systems
- Analytical mindset and first-rate problem-solving skills
- Candidates must be tech-savvy and extremely data-centric.
- Growth oriented with a proven track record of scaling up
products and new geographies
- The ability to work autonomously in a decentralised
organisation

reporting to our Chief Operations Officer, and closely working with
